Erling Haaland, who scored his first hat-trick for his country on the weekend, has netted more than superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi had combined when they were his age.

The prolific striker has taken the Bundesliga by storm since moving to Borussia Dortmund in January, and recently opened his account for Norway.
On Sunday, he netted a hat-trick in his side's 4-0 win over Romania, and has now scored six times in as many senior appearances for his country.
However, all of his six goals for Norway have come after his 20th birthday on 21 July this year.
In order to compare his superb goal exploits with two of the game's absolute superstars, we looked at Haaland, Messi and Ronaldo's goal returns before they turned 20 years old.
Impressively, Haaland has netted more than Messi and Ronaldo had combined by the time they turned 20.
The BVB frontman had 65 goals in 113 appearances for club and country by the time he turned 20, while Ronaldo had scored just 23 times and Messi netted 30 goals before their respective 20th birthdays.
Haaland scored 20 goals during his time with Molde, another 29 times in just 27 games for Red Bull Salzburg, and has 16 strikes in his first 18 appearances for BVB.

He made his senior debut for his hometown club Bryne as a 15-year-old, but failed to hit the back of the net in his 16 games for them. In addition, he also remained goalless in his two Norway appearances before turning 20.
Ronaldo, however, did feature in more matches than the other two, having made 121 appearances before turning 20, in comparison to Haaland's 113 and Messi's 84.
