Borussia Dortmund lost further ground in the race for a top-four spot after playing to a 2-2 draw with Hoffenheim on Saturday.
Dortmund dominated the early exchanges, with Erling Haaland and Mats Hummels going close to breaking the deadlock in the opening 15 minutes.
The dominance eventually paid off in the 24th minute when Jadon Sancho opened the scoring with a clinical finish from close range after being picked out by Raphael Guerreiro.
Dortmund had the ball in the back of the net five minutes later when Haaland rifled home, but the Norwegian's strike was ruled out for an offside.
The disallowed goal seemed to spark Hoffenheim into life as the equaliser arrived on 33 minutes as Munas Dubbaur found the back of the net from Sebastian Rudy's assist.
As neither side were able to bag second goal in the second half, the visitors took the lead seven minutes after the restart as Ihlas Bebou nodded home from a corner.
Dortmund responded by introducing Youssoufa Moukoko and Mahmoud Dahoud for the final 30 minutes as they went in search of an equaliser.
The equaliser eventually arrived with 11 minutes left on the clock as Haaland latched onto a loose ball before firing home from close range, although the Hoffenheim players were upset that the ball wasn't kicked out when their player was on the ground.
Both sides went in search of a winning goal, but neither did enough to get the reward as the spoils were shared on the day.
