FIFA and FIFpro asked more than 25 000 professional players to partake in the voting for the World XI, and also stopped in South Africa to get votes from some of Mzansi's stars.
While it is not known who the South African representatives that voted are, FIFpro has released the South African FIFA World XI, along with those of 67 other member countries.
To refresh your memory, here is the official 2015 FIFA Team of the Year:
GK: Manuel Neuer
DF: Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo
MF: Andres Iniesta, Paul Pogba, Luka Modric
FW: Lionel Messi, Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo
