Ahead of the Ballon d'Or award ceremony in Paris on Monday night, a leaked report has emerged suggesting where Juventus and Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will place in the 2019 ranking.

While there have already been reports suggesting that FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi is the favourite to win the accolade on Monday, a new leaked story has come to light, seemingly suggesting just what position his eternal rival Ronaldo will finish in.
As per BarcaUniversal on Twitter, Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah follow Messi in second and third place, respectively, while Ronaldo finishes in fourth spot.

Despite winning trophies with Juventus and Portugal in 2019, Ronaldo's individual form, especially for his club, seems to have worsened in recent months.

If the reports are true, this will be the first time Ronaldo finishes outside the top three since 2010, when the podium consisted of Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi Hernandez.
