Wydad Athletic Club's president has reportedly made a big call on Rulani Mokwena's future at the club amid the team's erratic start to the Botola Pro campaign.

The 37-year-old tactician has struggled for consistency since taking the reins in Casablanca.
Mokwena has seen his new charges win five matches, draw three and lose another three since he arrived at the home of the Red Castle.
His most recent result in the league was a 2-0 defeat to COD Meknes, leaving Wydad in fifth place in the standings.
Inconsistency seems to be the prevailing theme throughout the Moroccan top flight, however, as the Johannesburg native's men are only three points off the top spot.
While it seems as though the pressure may be mounting for the former Mamelodi Sundowns man, that is not the case, according to reports.
As per Kooora, the president of the three-time CAF Champions League winners, Hicham Ait Menna, remains fully behind the South African tactician and is willing to be patient with him, and trusts Mokwena's philosophy and methods.
The same report claims that Ait Menna has no intention of firing Mokwena at the moment, and after the team lost to Meknes, reassured the South African of his full support.
While the newly elected president is confident in the 2023/24 African Super League winner's abilities to steady the Wydad ship, he did reportedly also stress to him that results need to improve, especially after their heavy recruitment during the off-season.

Mokwena's next match is against table-toppers RS Berkane, and a win over the Orange Boys will see them move level on points with their opponents.
