Wydad Casablanca have reportedly intensified talks with Mamelodi Sundowns to secure the services of Thembinkosi Lorch, who is believed to be attracting interest from another club.
The South African forward put on a few impressive displays for Wydad at the FIFA Club World Cup, which included scoring in the defeat to Juventus in the United States last month.

According to WinWin, Club president Hicham Ait Mena has stepped up the efforts in negotiations as they aim to find a solution to secure Lorch on a permanent deal.
Lorch joined the Moroccan giants in the January transfer window on a short-term deal and managed to become a key figure in the team under former coach Rulani Mokwena.
The report adds that Ait Mena has once again entered talks with the South African champions, but he also has offers from clubs in the Arabian Gulf.
“Wydad president, Hicham Ait Mena, has begun negotiations with Mamelodi Sundowns officials to keep Lorch," the source told Kooora.
"The player has offers from the Arabian Gulf and even his team, Mamelodi Sundowns, is considering keeping him, but the president of “Wydad Al-Ummah” is putting all his weight behind him and does not want to give up the services of Lorch, who can continue to shine with the Moroccan team, which submitted its second offer to Mamelodi Sundowns officials, after the first, which they did not like financially."
The former Orlando Pirates star was also named Wydad's Player of the Month for March.
