Asker, who is a former Morocco international, has previously managed at Qatari outfit Umm-Salal while his previous coaching jobs have come at youth team level in France.
The former Morocco defender takes of Wydad with the team currently sitting in fifth position in the top-flight standings.
There only six games left in the current Botola Pro 1 campaign, but Wydad are nowhere close to competing for the league title.
