Two Reasons Why African Giants Won't Appoint Mosimane Revealed – Report

An African giant is said to be keen on appointing Pitso Mosimane as their next manager, but reportedly will not due to two major reasons.

The highly decorated South African tactician has been out of football management ever since he parted ways with Abha Club in the Saudi Pro League at the end of last season.

Mosimane has since revealed that he would like to return to international football coaching, stating that two major west African nations approached him to take the reins.

However, it seems the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly boss is still appreciated by clubs on the continent, and one of them is Raja Club Athletic.

The Green Eagles parted ways with Rusmir Cviko last week, and are now looking to replace the Bosnian.

According to reports in Morocco, while Mosimane is greatly appreciated by Raja, they have opted to go in a different direction because, firstly, his salary demands would be too high for them.

The second reason the Botola Pro Inwi champions are said to be against bringing in the Kagiso native is because he has previously expressed his appreciation for their great rivals Wydad Athletic Club, who are currently being coached by his one-time mentee Rulani Mokwena.

Instead of Mosimane, it is suggested that the club's hierarchy will push for Abdellatif Jrindou to be their next manager.

Jrindou is a Raja legend having won two CAF Champions League titles as a player with the team, and following his work with Mas Fes and Moghreb Tetouan as manager, the reigning Moroccan champions believe he can lead them.
