The South African has had a disruptive start to his MC Alger career as he has taken charge of just one official game since his appointment in July.
The Dean's first league game against CR Belouizdad was postponed following both sides' player participation at the African Nations Championship (CHAN), and he could only muster a draw in his second league game against USM Alger.
According to Sport News, Mokwena will now hold a closed training camp at the club's grounds as he looks to reorganise his squad, particularly new signings Zinedine Ferghat and Ishaq Boussouf.
The camp will allow the new signings to settle into the team and improve their fitness levels. Mokwena said the camp will benefit the team both physically and technically as the club deals with extra postponements, with their next league game against Ben Aknoun also postponed.
Mokwena was also hopeful that the camp would be beneficial for the players' mental strength after missing out on the win against USM, but ultimately, it was important for new signings to integrate into the group.
