The 35-year-old joins the Zimbabwean outfit after spending his entire 17-year professional career outside of his home country, playing for Kaizer Chiefs, TSG Hoffenheim in Germany, as well as several clubs in Belgium and Saudi Arabia.
Musona left Saudi Pro League side Al-Okhdood at the end of the 2024/25 season and upon his return to Zimbabwe, was unveiled as the team's latest signing.
The league campaign is well underway as Scottland currently sit 2nd after 23 games played and will be hoping the country's second top goalscorer can propel them to the top of the table.
In his first interview with the club, Musona revealed why he chose Scottland as his last club.
"It feels great to join Scottland and I am looking forward to this opportunity to come back home and play my last years of my career," he said.
"I've been playing internationally for the last 17 years and as I am winding down my career, I thought it was best to come home and play football in Zimbabwe," he added.
Musona will be reunited with several familiar faces including national teammates Khama Billiant and former Orlando Pirates forward Terrence Dzvukamanja, as well as his younger brother Walter Musona.
"It feels great. I have known them for some time and it's a good feeling because it's not like I am coming into a completely new team with new teammates, most of them I have played with and against," he said.
On playing with his brother, he said: "It feels great. I've always wanted to play with him."
He continued: "I always wanted him to be a great player, to play better than I did and to achieve big things in his career, and now I have an opportunity to push him and help him to grow his career, and I hope that it is going to be a good experience," Musona added.
