Al Ahly registered a 2-0 win over Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca at the Cairo International Stadium on Saturday night.
South African international Percy Tau was included in the Al Ahly starting line-up, having impressed in the last two games of the group stages.

Defending champions Wydad Casablanca suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tanzanian giants Simba at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium.
Jean Othos got the breakthrough for the Tanzanian giants in the 30th minute with his fourth goal of the competition.
Simba will be hoping to improve on their last visit to Morocco, where they lost 3-1 Raja Casablanca in the group stages.

Espérance Sportive de Tunis took a slight advantage in their quarter-final after claiming a 1-0 win over JS Kabylie on Friday evening.
Kabylie had an unbeaten record at home in the Champions League prior to the encounter, while the Tunisian side only won one away game in the group stages.
However, Mohameed Ben Hammouda was the hero in Algiers after netting the game's only goal ten minutes after the halftime break.
