Kenya head coach Benni McCarthy says he sees glimpses of himself in Harambee Stars striker Ryan Ogam.
Ogam grabbed the headlines last weekend for his display in the 1-0 victory over Morocco, which included scoring an impressive goal in the first half.

McCarthy says the Tusker FC forward is still not 100 percent and will get stronger as the tournament continues.
“He is a work in progress. He just came off a nasty injury, and we were fortunate to get him back in the CHAN squad," McCarthy said, as per Mozzart.
"We were patient with him, and once he regains his sharpness, I think he will have a lovely tournament.
“He is sharp, intelligent, and strong. He’s physically good and skilled, probably more than I was when I was playing. As the tournament progresses, you will start to see glimpses of Benni McCarthy in him because Ryan has all the attributes.

"What he did against Morocco was incredible. I will nurture him in the best way I can."
Kenya will hope to secure a spot in the quarter-finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) when they take on Zambia on Sunday afternoon.
