The 32-year-old, who is not part of Warriors coach Sunday Chidzambwa's latest squad, believes Teenage Hadebe will be ready when the team takes on Congo DR.
Hadebe played a crucial role when Zimbabwe held Congo-Brazzaville to a 1-1 draw in their AFCON qualifier last month, but has since struggled for game time at Chiefs.
He was not in Giovanni Solinas' squad for the Glamour Boys' recent 1-0 defeat to Polokwane City, but his countryman Katsande has insisted Hadebe will help his team in their upcoming AFCON qualifiers.
"Hadebe is fine and he has been available for our matches," he told KweseESPN.
"It's just that coaches sometimes have their own opinions in terms of (the line-up), but I have no doubt that he is in fine shape to do a good job for Zimbabwe.
"He is our key defender and even if you look at the Congo game, he had just returned from injury but he was there, winning most of the tackles.
"That shows his quality and importance to the national team."

Zimbabwe are currently top of their qualification group, having picked up four points from their first two games. They will now face Congo DR, who are also on four points but with a slightly worse goal difference, in back-to-back matches on 13 and 16 October.
