What losing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations finalist Mohamed Salah said to his Egypt teammates following their loss to Senegal in Cameroon on Sunday has been revealed.
While he will be disappointed to have lost a second AFCON final, having previously been defeated at the last hurdle in 2017, the 29-year-old rallied his colleagues in an impressive act of leadership after the match.
Speaking to his side in the changing room after their penalty-shootout defeat to the Lions of Teranga, Salah told his teammates they need to prepare for revenge against Senegal in their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier in March.
