It appears to be "Panenka" season, with LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic being one of the latest footballers to pull off the audacious penalty chip. Did you see his effort?
The ageless Zlatan has got his second season in the MLS off to a flyer, and has managed to score three goals in his previous two league encounters, one of which was a cheeky Panenka penalty.
That goal came in the wake of a number of footballers daring to do the Panenka chip, with the likes of Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi and Memphis Depay all riding the wave.
Nonetheless, Zlatan's LA Galaxy played against Portland Timbers in a league clash this past weekend, and the Los Angeles outfit came out on top in a 2-1 win, during which the Swede score a brace.
In the 13th minute of the game, the ex-Manchester United man was seen pulling off a ridiculous bit of skill as he acrobatically directed the ball towards goal only for it to hit the upright.

In the 64th minute, the teams were tied with one goal apiece when Zlatan won a penalty for his side. The former Barcelona man stepped up and calmly slotted the ball away with a clever Panenka.
Have a look!
What do you think of Zlatan's Panenka goal?
