Moroccan champions Raja Club Athletic have reportedly made a decision on the future of their head coach after he managed only a 1-1 draw against Rulani Mokwena's Wydad Athletic Club.

Heading into the latest iteration of the Casablanca derby, Green Eagles boss Ricardo Sa Pinto was rumoured to be under intense pressure.
Since taking over the reigning Botola Pro title holders, the Portuguese tactician had failed to register a single league win, drawing four and losing one, while managing to score only one goal in the process.
As a consequence of this poor run of form since his tenure began, it was reported that his future at the club would be contingent on beating Wydad. For a brief moment, it looked as though he was going to earn his first victory in the Moroccan top flight against Mokwena.
Pape Ousmane Sakho opened the scoring against the Red Castle in the 53rd minute, but it wasn't to be for Sa Pinto's side as Mohamed Rayhi equalised in the 78th minute to salvage a point for the record competition champions.
According to Le Site Info Sport, a defeat against the former Mamelodi Sundowns boss would have meant the end of the Porto native's time with Raja, but the draw is alleged to have halted the club's decision to fire him.

The same report, meanwhile, claims that their next match in the CAF Champions League against AS FAR Rabat will prove decisive for the club. Should Sa Pinto fail to win that game, he will likely be axed.
