Mamelodi Sundowns kept up the pressure on Kaizer Chiefs, after impressively thrashing Polokwane City 5-0, but could we get a repeat of last season's title race?
The Brazilians made their intentions clear from the onset, with Cuthbert Malajila bagging his 10th goal of the season, before Anthony Laffor and Khama Billiat got their name on the score-sheet before the halftime break.
Our boys were not done there, as Billiat grabbed his second with a powerful finish, before Rodney Ramagalela rounded off the scoring with a thumping finish of his own.
The Three Who Impressed:
Anthony Laffor - The best player on the pitch by far, Laffor got his name on the score-sheet with a composed finish and also picked up three assists.
Khama Billiat - The Zimbabwean bagged two goals and was a constant threat throughout the 90 minutes and also set up Ramagalela's goal.
Cuthbert Malajila - Another game, another goal for Cuthbert, he also played in Laffor for his goal and was a threat for most of the game.
The Three Who Disappointed:
Bongani Zungu - Played more of defensive role, which saw him sit deep for most of the 90 minutes.
Hlompho Kekana - Much like Zungu, Kekana hardly got forward and was quite content to just sit deep and protect the back four.
Themba Zwane - Started off lively, made some surging runs but would have like to see him have a few efforts at goal, like Teko Modise does in that role.
