With Mamelodi Sundowns star Keagan Dolly recently being linked with English giants Manchester City, we look at a few more Mzansi players who've attracted interest from overseas!
Keagan Dolly – Mamelodi Sundowns
The midfielder is said to have attracted interest from City, although it is unlikely he will be eligible to play for them if he does make a move. Dolly would be unable to secure a work permit, given the fact Bafana Bafana are outside of the top 50 in the FIFA world rankings.
Lorenzo Gordinho – Kaizer Chiefs
The Kaizer Chiefs defender left on Monday for a trial in Denmark after spending a week in England training with Fulham's U23 side. Gordinho will spend five days with the European club, and it has been made clear that Aalborg BK are looking for a centre back.
Rivaldo Coetzee – Ajax Cape Town
The Ajax Cape Town and Bafana Bafana defender is said to be wanted in France, although the club reportedly interested in him has remained a mystery. At just 20 years old, Coetzee is tipped for a bright future, and a move to Europe at a young age would certainly be a great start.
Khama Billiat – Mamelodi Sundowns
The Zimbabwean playmaker has been one of the PSL's standout players over the past couple of seasons, and it's no secret he could soon be making a move to Europe. Although an official offer for Billiat is yet to be made, it's believed he is being monitored by Belgium's Club Brugge and KV Oostende, among other clubs.
Phakamani Mahlambi – Bidvest Wits
The Bidvest Wits starlet recently made his long-awaited comeback to football after a lengthy injury lay-off. Mahlambi made a fantastic return to his side, which could see Galatasaray and Benfica renew their reported interest in him.
