Menzi Masuku introduced himself to South African football with an impressive display against SuperSport United, as Orlando Pirates claimed a 4-1 win.
Pirates started the game on a poor note and it looked like it was going to be another disappointing evening when Thuso Phala put SuperSport ahead after 15 minutes.
However, the 21-year-old stamped his authority on the game and popped up with an equaliser, showing good strength to head beyond Ronwen Williams.
Masuku combined well with the likes of Oupa Manyisa, Sifiso Myeni and Khethokwakhe Masuku on numerous occasions and really looked lively in the middle of the park.
And the youngster capped off his performance in fine style, he picked up the ball near the halfway line, ran at the SuperSport defence and rifled home a sublime effort into the top corner from 25-yards out. A goal which will certainly be among the contenders for Goal of the Season.
There's no doubt that Masuku is a talent and Pirates would love to see him play on a regular, especially if his putting in performances like the one against SuperSport.
