While Cristiano Ronaldo may not have the legs of years gone by, the Portuguese forward somehow managed to turn back the clock and record a blistering sprinting pace against Spain. Did you see it?
The Los Blancos forward was in fine form in Portugal's opening game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup against Spain, which ended in an exciting 3-3 stalemate.
On the night, "CR7" scored a memorable hat-trick, including a 93rd-minute free-kick that had David de Gea rooted to the spot.
However, the game was not only remembered for his hat-trick, but also for a first-half sprint of his that did not go unnoticed.
In a counter-attack in the 21st minute, the 33-year-old raced from his box to the opposition penalty area, and is said to have recorded a powerful 38.6km/h in doing so.
