Although Bafana Bafana's captain has not been named yet, Stuart Baxter has admitted he knows which player he wants to lead the team. Could it be one of these guys?
The new South Africa boss named an exciting team ahead of their match against Nigeria next month, with the likes of Bongani Zungu, Tokelo Rantie and Aubrey Ngoma being included.
With Baxter yet to name his captain, fans have speculated that goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune will wear the armband, although there are a few other players who could take the duty.
SuperSport United captain Dean Furman has led Bafana previously, and could be an option as Baxter knows exactly what the player has to offer in terms of his leadership on the field.
Thulani Hlatshwayo is another player who could be an option for Baxter, as he has shown excellent captaincy qualities at PSL champions Bidvest Wits since being given the responsibility.
The last obvious candidate is Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder and skipper Hlompho Kekana, who made his Bafana debut back in 2011.
The 32-year-old knows how to lead a winning team, but some believe Khune might just be the best man for the job...
Who would you like to see captaining Bafana?
