The story

In 1994, when Radebe joined Leeds United in England, very few would have predicted the career he would go on and have at the East Yorkshire outfit.

After a difficult start to life in the UK, he eventually won the hearts of Leeds fans, who affectionately gave him the nickname "the Chief."

In 1998, following his role in helping South Africa win the African Nations Cup in 1996, he was appointed captain of Leeds where he made over 250 appearances for the club.

After leading Bafana Bafana in the 1998 World Cup, Radebe helped guide Leeds to success by leading them to finish fourth in the 1998-1999 English Premiership and third the following year, securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League.

He left Leeds as not only as a formidable leader but also a cult hero, with 55-year-old still being celebrated by the club and it's supporters till this day.

On Twitter/X, a user by the name of Thomas Cansfield shared a picture of his tattoo dedicated to "Rhoo". It's simple design that displays "Radebe 5" similar to what you'd see from the back of the ex-Bafana captain's Leeds jersey.

Take a look at the tat and Radebe's response:
