Jessica Motaung has revealed who some of her favourite players to have sported her family's famous yellow jersey are. Can you guess who?
Speaking to the Kaizer Chiefs website in an exclusive interview recently, Jessica identified Ace Ntsoelengoe, Howard Freese, Scara Thindwa, Trevor "KKK" Mthimkhulu, Chippa Molatedi, Doctor Khumalo and Teenage Dladla as some of the stars she admired the most when she was growing up.
Things have certainly shifted quite a bit since the Glamour Boys' heydays, when they would win back-to-back trophies and were both feared and respected by their opponents. In fact, other than the team name, it seems as if not much else has remained.
Amakhosi have not won any major silverware in three seasons, their current campaign is not looking very promising as they currently sit in fifth place in the league, and they recently crashed out of the Telkom Knockout competition.
We wonder if Jessica sees any potential in the current squad of players to become like the greats she looked up to in her youth.
Meanwhile, her father and founder of the historic club is still said to be recovering after he was brutally attacked by angry fans following the club's defeat to Bidvest Wits on Saturday.
What do you think of Jessica's choice of favourite Chiefs players?
