Rappers Blxckie and Cassper Nyovest combined well at the Celebrity Soccer Games held at the WITS Stadium yesterday.

What's the story?

Local artists came together at WITS for the Celebrity Soccer Games, where four genres took each other on over three matches on Sunday.

In an entertaining encounter between Hip Hop vs Gqom, rappers Blxckie and Cassper Nyovest combined well in a mixture of Kasi flavour skill and elite technical ability which almost resulted in a goal.

Cassper Nyovest also scored a Tshabalala-Esque screamer to get the equaliser against Gqom FC.

Cassper Nyovest and Blxckie show their flair

Football seems to come naturally to Blxckie and Cassper Nyovest who combined well on the right flank to produce a move that should've resulted in a goal.

With a decent touch, turn and a bit of skill, Blxckie passed the ball to Cassper who darted a neat cross-field pass to the forward who struggled to stay on his feet to finish.

Chasing an equaliser, Hip Hop FC desperately needed to get back into the game and Cassper Nyovest proved to be the man for the occasion with a thunderous strike with his right foot.
