Wow, I just saw the pictures of Mario Balotelli's new haircut. Our new striker shows his love for our club by putting the Liver Bird onto his head.
And he has done so just at the right time, a few days before the Merseyside Derby against Everton.
Mario hasn't scored as many goals as we had wished for, but I'm sure he will get right under Brendan Rodgers.
His work ethic and his new calmness have impressed me and he has stepped up in a few big moments already. First, he scored an important goal in the Champions league last week, then he converted two penalties against Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.
Yes, his overall stats with just one goal in his first five games need to improve, but we can't blame him for the poor form of our squad. I'm sure once the likes of StevieG, Hendo and Coutinho will return to their best, we will see Mario banging in the goals. Daniel Sturridge is also close to returning to the starting XI and I hope we can see the beginning of a new deadly partnership.
Anyway, I just love the way he shows off and hope he can score his first Premier League goal against our bitter rivals on Saturday.
