It certainly goes without mentioning that the ABSA Premiership has become much more lucrative and exciting in recent years - there is no more big nor small teams. Those teams which were considered 'small' during the heydays of the PSL have recently come to the party, and we need to applaud such. With that being said though, it saddens me that with this improvement in the standard of our league, it would appear that all that is metal turns to dust and I am saying this based on quality players being turned into benchwarmers before being offloaded. Surely players such as Keagan Buchanan and Innocent ''Slyza Tsotsi" Nemukondeni should have set the PSL alight following their move(s). Asavela Mbekile and Mogakolodi Tsotso Ngele also got raw deals. 20 year old Lindokuhle Mtshali too. How sad!!!
