A former Al Ahly star has questioned the club's decision to allow Percy Tau to leave after their defeat to Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League.
The defending champions finished second in Group C after losing 2-1 to the Buccaneers at the Cairo International Stadium on Saturday evening.

Tau left the Egyptian giants last week to join Qatar SC but former Al Ahly player Yasser Radwan felt the South African's presence was missing in the attack.
"Al Ahly's performance does not reach the level we are accustomed to. There is significant inconsistency. How can we talk about the impact of absences when the team is supposed to have the best players in Egypt?," Radwan told On Sport FM.
"Al Ahly has very good players. It all depends on the coach and how he manages these players tactically. Changing the playing style frequently confuses the players.

"Al Ahly needs a striker alongside Wessam Abou Ali, as well as wingers, a left-back, and a centre-back. There is an abundance of midfielders, but after Akram Tawfik's departure, the team might need a midfielder.
"I thought Percy Tau needed a chance to continue because he makes an impact whenever he plays. However, regarding Kahraba, I think now is the right time for him to leave Al Ahly."
