The story
On Tuesday, Durban-based outfit AmaZulu FC announced the signings of two blockbuster signings, with one of them being versatile defender Sandile Mthethwa.
Mthethwa was unveiled alongside Bongani Zungu by club president, Sandile Zungu, seeing the 27-year-old add plenty of experience and quality to Usuthu's backline.
The Empangeni-born baller heads back to KwaZulu Natal after amicably separating from the Buccaneers after nearly a decade at the club, where he was very popular among his teammates for his charisma and sense of humour.
Mthethwa's TikTok page is a combination of football-related content and funny skits he creates with his partner and young children and his now former teammates.
