Manchester United have reportedly set a shock asking price for Marcus Rashford, who they would be willing to sell in January.

The Red Devils would reportedly be willing to consider offers in the region of £40 million (R902.7 million) for Rashford in the upcoming transfer window.
Ruben Amorim's arrival at Old Trafford was viewed as a positive step in the right direction, with the club having at times appeared directionless under Erik ten Hag, who was sacked in October.
The Portuguese manager has already made several changes at United, most notably implementing a version of the 3-4-3 formation that he used at Sporting Lisbon.
However, Amorim's appointment in November meant that he was unable to sign any players in the summer and has been forced to work with a squad entirely composed of players from the team ten Hag left behind.
The Daily Mail reports that the club are under significant pressure to sell players to comply with profit and sustainability rules, and that selling Rashford to raise funds for the new head coach has been suggested as an option.
The experienced England international has endured a difficult period in his career, having only been picked for the Three Lions once this year.
For United, meanwhile, Rashford has struggled for consistency on the field after ending the 2022/23 season with a career-best of 30 goals across all competitions.
Reports in England claim the Red Devils are concerned with the 27-year-old's lifestyle outside of football.
