Pogba Backed For Stunning Man Utd Return

Paul Pogba has been backed to return to Manchester United.

Paul Pogba has been backed to make a sensational return to Manchester United following the reduction of his four-year ban from football.

The 31-year-old will be eligible for selection again in March next year, though it remains to be seen where his career will continue.

Juventus chiefs have confirmed the midfielder is no longer included in their plans under new manager Thiago Motta, with the club expected to terminate his deal.

Since the Court of Arbitration for Sport reduced his doping ban from four years to just 18 months, Pogba has been linked with teams in France, Saudi Arabia and the United States.

Former France international Emmanuel Petit recently said he believes the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner would be a good fit for Arsenal, but Louis Saha feels he could be a suitable replacement for Scott McTominay at United.

"Paul Pogba can go wherever he wants. If he's given the platform to show his talent again, people will be reminded of how special he is," he told Paddy Power

"He can play in the Champions League; he can play for France and I'm a big fan of his. I've always been harsh on him because when you have that talent, you have a responsibility. He's going to be super motivated when he comes back.

"I would love to see him at Manchester United because when you look at their midfield, they have lost Scott McTominay which is a loss because he contributed to the team well."

Pogba has already had two spells at the Red Devils; the first after joining the club as a youth player and the second when he returned to England from Italy in 2016.

While enormously talented, the Frenchman was often criticised for lacking consistency during his time in the Premier League.

He did, however, contribute to 88 goals in 233 appearances for United across those two stints.
