One of Barcelona's captains has showered teenager superstar Lamine Yamal with special praise, labelling the youngster among the best in the world.

The La Masia alumni has been taking football world by storm ever since bursting on the scene.
During the 2023/24 campaign, the skilful winger emerged as a force, starting regularly for the Catalan giants before staking his claim for the right-flank position for the Spanish national team ahead of the 2024 UEFA European Championship.
He helped La Furia Roja win the continental title for a record fourth time in July, winning the competition's Young Player of the Tournament award in the process.
Earlier this week, his achievements for club and country culminated in him winning the Kopa Trophy at the 2024 Ballon d'Or awards ceremony.
He is the youngest-ever player to win the prize, breaking yet another record in what is turning out to already be an illustrious career.
This season at club level, however, he is sharing the spotlight with Robert Lewandowski and Brazilian attacker Raphinha.
The latter has been in sublime form, notching 10 goals and nine assists in the 14 appearances he has made across all competitions for the Blaugrana.
While his numbers may be substantially better than Lamine Yamal's so far, the 27-year-old has conceded that the youngster is one of the best players on the planet.
"He [Lamine Yamal] is my boy. I have a very special affection for him. When he joined us in training in the first year when I arrived, I already saw his quality and potential, and we just have to wait until we see the magic he does on the field," he told losimplenovale.
"In my opinion, he is one of the best in the world. He will be one of the best in the world for many years, and I am sure of this.
