The story
Former Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Rulani Mokwena left Wydad Casablanca supporters angered after leading his side to another league defeat.
Wydad Athletic Club fans expressed their frustration towards Rulani Mokwena and his troops, after a disappointing 1-0 loss to 10-men RS Berkane at home on Saturday.
In a post-match video that's doing the rounds on social media, Rulani lingered on the pitch with his players, hesitating to head to the dressing room as the passionate Wydad fans called for accountability.
As they made their way toward the tunnel, Wydad players and staff had to dodge objects hurled by the upset fans. Mokwena's time at Moroccan giants hasn't gone off to the best start.
The club have endured a difficult start to the Botola Pro 1 season under the tutelage of the young South African coach, as they currently occupy eighth place in the league with three defeats to their name.
