Juventus appear to have confirmed their stance on Paul Pogba, who recently said he would take a pay cut to continue at the club.

Club director Cristiano Giuntoli has firmly shut the door on a potential return for the midfielder, following the reduction of his doping ban from four years to just 18 months.
The Frenchman, who remains under contract until the summer of 2026, will be eligible to play again in March 2025.
Recently, he expressed a willingness to accept a pay cut to continue playing for the Bianconeri, but Giuntoli has made it clear the club will be moving in a different direction.
"Our position is clear. Pogba has been a great player, he has been out for a long time and last year we were forced to invest in other players," he told DAZN.
"So now the squad is complete as it is."
With Pogba's future at the club seemingly decided, discussions regarding a contract termination are expected to take place, with both parties recognising that a fresh start is the only viable path forward.
There are reports suggesting that Pogba could join forces with Roberto De Zerbi at Olympique Marseille should he become a free agent, although the 31-year-old himself has played this down.

Additionally, a potential move to the MLS with Los Angeles FC has also been mooted in the media.
