Ex-Barca Star Offers To Come Out Of Retirement

A former FC Barcelona star has offered to come out of retirement to help the Catalan club after their recent injuries.

The Catalan giants confirmed on Monday that first choice goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen will miss the next seven to eight months after his big knee injury, which he sustained in the win over Villarreal.

Former Barcelona shot-stopper Claudio Bravo has now offered his services to the Spanish despite hanging up his gloves last season.

"If Barcelona wants me, I'm willing to come out of retirement," Bravo told WinWinAllSports, as per Fabrizio Romano.

The 41-year-old shot-stopper spent four years with the Catalan giants between 2014 and 2016, where he made 75 appearances and kept 43 clean sheets.

Bravo went on to join Manchester City and spent four years at the club before ending his career in LALIGA with Real Betis last campaign.

Inaki Pena is now expected to be the Catalan giants' first choice in the coming months, but it seems the club might need to bring in another goalkeeper for short-term purposes.
