Next Star To Leave Man Utd 'Confirmed'

The Red Devils seem to be proactive in their recruitment policy in recent months.

The Mancunians brought in five new stars in the latest transfer window as Erik ten Hag looks to justify his place in the Old Trafford dugout in his third season in charge.

There is a lot of pressure on the Dutchman to achieve greater consistency with the club, having been backed in the off-season with the acquisitions of players such as Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Joshua Zirkzee and Manuel Ugarte.

The 54-year-old tactician led the club to their worst-ever Premier League finish last season, eighth place, and the expectation is for him to do better in this latest campaign.

Whether or not he makes it to next season does not seem to be a certainty, but according to Fichajes, what seems to already be a done deal is that midfielder Christian Eriksen will not be part of the team in 2025/26.

With the Dane in the final year of his contract in Manchester, the abovementioned report states that the club feel as though they have newer and younger players who can take on his role once his deal expires.

Eriksen has been at the club for two years now, but will have to look for a new side once his deal with the record English comes to an end.
