HUGE: Saudi Club Confirm Crazy Vinicius Move

A Saudi Arabian club has confirmed their interest in Vinicius Junior.

A club chief in Saudi Arabia has confirmed their enormous move for Real Madrid superstar and 2024 Ballon d'Or contender Vinicius Junior.

Speaking in a recent interview, Al Ahli director Khaled Al Issa revealed the Saudi Pro League outfit did indeed pursue a move for the 24-year-old Brazil international.

Last month, rumours claimed the winger was set to receive an offer that would make him the highest-paid player in the world, but that Real were not concerned he would leave.

Vinicius is among the most dangerous attackers in the world football at the moment, and is one of the favourites to land the 2024 Ballon d'Or.

He has insisted he is committed to adding more trophies to his growing collection at Los Blancos amid speculation surrounding his future.

Al Ahli's Al Issa has since explained why their focus turned from Vinicius to Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney, confirming there were "negotiations".

"We were aiming to bring in a top-level winger like Vinicius, but during negotiations, something unexpected happened," he said, according to AS

"Saudi players turned professional through the scholarship program, so Al Braikan became a professional, which changed our priority to signing a striker. We then entered talks with Toney and Osimhen."

Amid Vinicius' worrying form, Real reportedly feel he could be distracted amid the reports he would be offered life-changing money in Saudi.
