Following Cassius Mailula's move to Wydad Athletic Club last week, the Moroccan club's head coach Rulani Mokwena is understood to be keen on reuniting with more players that he had coached at Mamelodi Sundowns.
According to close sources, Sundowns and Bafana Bafana right-back Khuliso Mudau remains a target for Wydad and one of the players that Mokwena is understood to like to have for his first season with the team.

It was revealed by the Siya crew last month that the 29-year-old had been identified as a possible signing for the African giants.
With Abdelmounaim Boutouil expected to join Wydad after parting ways with the Brazilians this week, it is believed that the club could also attempt to sign Mudau though his situation is complex as he has a contract with the Chloorkop outfit and in the plans of coach Manqoba Mngqithi and his technical team.
It is unclear at this stage if the defending champions would be willing to part ways with the defender who has been one of the most influential players for the team in recent seasons.

"Khuliso Mudau remains a target for Wydad and coach Rulani would like to have him in his team. From what I understand, Sailor (Mudau) is keen on the move as he would like to gauge himself elsewhere and in a different environment. But he is still contracted to Sundowns and the club is keen to extend the contract. He is in the plans," said the source.
As reported by the Siya crew, another former Sundowns player who is linked with Wydad is Bongani Zungu who has been a free agent since June.
Soccer Laduma contacted Sundowns for comment but the club had not responded by the time this report was published.
