Latest: Mdantsane's Chiefs Future

The Siya crew has been led to believe that Kaizer Chiefs are expected to go ahead with their plans to loan out a player, though there is a bit of a challenge.

Indications are that midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane is not part of the technical team's plans going into the new season and there is a chance of him being sent out on loan at some point this season, though an injury could have an effect on whether or not a move happens in the current window or in January.

Mdantsane did not travel to Turkey with Amakhosi for their pre-season tour recently due to injury, as revealed by the club a few weeks ago.

The former Cape Town City and Baroka FC player is expected to possibly make a return in September, just in time for the start of the new Premiership campaign, and could be out on loan.

The transfer window is expected to close in September, a week after the start of the new season, so a move has not been ruled out as yet for the player. The Siya crew understands that the challenge Amakhosi are facing at the moment is that there are no clubs making an effort to have the player on board.

The 29-year-old, who made 16 appearances in all competitions for the Soweto giants, is in the second year of the three-year contract he signed with Amakhosi.

It's believed Chiefs would also be open to a permanent sale, but there are no offers on the table as yet.
