This impressive list of free agents of players who were released after last season includes the likes of Bongani Zungu, Itumeleng Khune, Gaston Sirino, Kermit Erasmus, Sibusiso Vilakazi, George Maluleka and Keagan Dolly.

Zungu parted ways with Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of last season and has been linked with a move to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca
A decision on Khune's future is yet to be announced, with Kaizer Chiefs open to giving him a job at the club that does not involve him playing. It's believed that there is interest in the player, but he could stay with his beloved Amakhosi.
As reported by the Siya crew, Cape Town City are looking at the possibility of signing Erasmus for a second spell.
Some of the other players who are free agents are Clayton Daniels, Siyanda Xulu, Luvuyo Memela, Richard Ofori, Siyabonga Mpontshane, Abel Mabaso, Sifiso Hlanti, Thamsanqa Gabuza, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Edwin Gyimah, Brian Onyango, Roscoe Pietersen, Denwin Farmer and Siyabonga Nhlapo.
