On Tuesday, the 25-year-old was unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu after committing to a five-year contract in Spain. That deal will reportedly see the Frenchman be paid upwards of €100 million (R1.9 million) in the form of a signing-on bonus, which he will receive in instalments over the course of his stay.

When it comes to the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner's salary, Capology claims the former Paris Saint-Germain No. 7 will earn €15 million (R297.9 million) annually after tax deductions, making him the LALIGA giants' highest-paid player.

His reported new salary will see him jump above defender David Alaba in Real's top earners ranking, with the Austria international, who missed the second half of last season through injury, being paid €10.8 million (R214.5 million) a year in Madrid.
