The German tactician is unemployed following his departure from the Reds after nine seasons in charge.
Months before stepping down from his former role, Klopp confirmed his desire to take a break from the sport and insisted he was not leaving Liverpool for another job.
That seems to have not deterred potential suitors around the world, though, after claims he was recently approached by the United States Men's National Team (USMNT).
According to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein, "initial contact" through mediators was made with Klopp's representatives last week.
The 57-year-old, however, is said to have "politely declined" as the German reiterated his stance of wanting time out from football.

The USMNT's idea was to attract Klopp to the country with the hope he would be in charge of them at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to be held in the US.
