Manchester United have reportedly finally agreed a deal to sell 22-year-old striker Mason Greenwood, who recently returned to the club from a loan spell in Spain.

According to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein, the one-time England international's proposed move to Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Marseille is getting closer.
The forward enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Getafe in LALIGA in the previous campaign, contributing to 16 goals across all competitions and being named the club's Player of the Season.
He has since returned to England, where he is under contract until 2025, although United have reportedly decided his long-term future lies away from Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are believed to have accepted an offer of €31.6 million (R619.7 million) from Marseille for Greenwood, who must still choose whether or not he wants to join the French side.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the French club had become the striker's preferred destination amid interest from teams in Italy and Spain.
If the abovementioned deal between United and Marseille is finalised, it would see the former get paid €27.6 million (R541.3 million) as a fixed fee and a further €4 million (R78.4 million) in add-ons.
Greenwood was tipped for a bright future at the 20-time English champions until his arrest in January 2022 on suspicion of attempted rape, engaging in controlling behaviour and assault.

While those charges were dropped in April last year, United are looking to move the player on.
