A Mamelodi Sundowns defender looks set to make a permanent switch to Sekhukhune United, with talks ongoing over a long-term deal for the player.
Former junior international Katlego Mohamme spent the second half of the past season on loan from Sundowns to Sekhukhune, after struggling to break into the team at Chloorkop.

The move gave him an opportunity to spend a bit of time on the pitch, rather than watching matches from the stands at Sundowns. He made six appearances in all competitions for Babina Noko and it appears the club is interested in keeping him beyond the expiration of his loan deal at the end of this month.
"I am expecting that we come to some sort of decision with Katlego and Sekhukhune, sooner rather than later," Makaab said to the Siya crew.
"We are already in negotiations for a permanent move. It would be nice for him. After many years, I think he has found a home. I am hoping we finalise it sooner rather than later. I believe it will be a home where he can show his true potential because I think he is a talented player."

The 26-year-old joined Sundowns from University of Pretoria in 2021 and was immediately loaned out to Swallows FC (now Moroka Swallows FC). He returned to Sundowns for the 2022/23 campaign, making just one appearance on the final day of the season against Maritzburg United. During the first half of this season, he did not make any appearances for the Tshwane giants.
