Focalistic brings football and music together

Amapiano hit maker, Focalistic is collaborating with adidas for the music video of his latest single, "Pressure."

The laidback song follows a somewhat similar tone to Focalistic's 2022 hit "Pele Pele" with Ch'cco but this time, "President Ya Straata" is taking his creative prowess to a new level alongside adidas.

His new hit "Pressure" will boast a host of adidas SA ambassadors and athletes such as Rugby World Cup-winning Springbok, Damian Willemse, Proteas cricket superstar Kagisa Rabada, and Olympic sprinter Akani Simbine.

On the football side, Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams is seen rocking a Kasi Flavour10 98' Bafana jersey, while Relebohile Mofokeng is shown flexing his mercurial skills.

"The music video for 'Pressure' is crazy, I think it's the first of its kind. It's storytelling at its best, it's peak. For me, it's something that I've always wanted to do. I've always wanted to link those two world you know — sports and music and show people how they're synonymous," explains Focalistic to MTV Base.

Take a look:

The artist was also seen interacting with South African football legend Lucas Radebe, behind the scenes on what appeared to be the set of the music video.

The duo chatted for a bit before taking a series of snaps with Rabada:
