Chiefs honour Fleurs

Amakhosi are finding strength in prayer following the Luke Fleurs' heartbreaking death that's shaken the SA football fraternity.

Chiefs' social media pages posted images of the players in their training gear, standing arm-in-arm with coaches and staff members for a moment of silence and prayer in remembrance of Fleurs.

Despite not making his official debut for the Glamour Boys since joining in October last year from SuperSport United, "Pelas" was already a popular figure in the Chiefs dressing room, with his teammates expressing their grief over his death.

Although Amakhosi are currently grief-stricken over losing Fleurs, Saturday's encounter against Chippa United is set to go ahead, with a moment of silence to be observed in every DStv Premiership fixture this weekend.
