Clubs will already be planning for the end-of-season transfer window as they explore ways to either improve their fortunes or build on the success they have enjoyed this term. Other sides, however, have already concluded business!

While he joined Bayern Munich on loan in the January window, English centre-back Eric Dier has already put pen to paper on a deal to join the Bundesliga giants permanently in July this year. The 30-year-old reunited with compatriot and former Tottenham Hotspur teammate Harry Kane in Germany, and has since established himself as a regular under Thomas Tuchel.

With the German tactician on his way out, though, Dier might worry that his long-term future at the Bavarians could be in jeopardy, but this he will only find out later, having already committed to the free-agent switch.

Spanish side Athletic Club, meanwhile, have successfully lured 24-year-old Alvaro Djalo from Portuguese side Braga, for whom he has contributed to 17 goals in 41 matches across all competitions this season.

The Madrid-born winger will join the Bilbao-based club in a deal worth €15 million (R303 million), a transfer that was announced by Athletic in March. Djalo moved to the Basque region of Spain as a three-month-old child and played for local clubs UD San Miguel de Basauri and SD Begona, making him eligible to represent the team famous for only employing players from the Basque Country.

Premier League side Brentford have signed 22-year-old forward Igor Thiago from Club Brugge for €33 million (R667 million), while 18-year-old sensation Ibrahim Osman will also be new to England's top division when he completes his switch from Nordsjaelland to Brighton Hove Albion.

Swedish starlet Lucas Bergvall is set to officially join Spurs from Djurgarden, and Italy international Davide Frattesi, already on loan at Inter Milan from Sassuolo, has agreed to move to the Nerazzurri permanently, but what about the most expensive deal confirmed for next season?

That belongs to 14-time UEFA Champions League winners Real, who will be welcoming 17-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Endrick to the Spanish capital at the end of the season. The teenager has already struck twice for the Selecao, and is considered one of the world's best up-and-coming players. Next season, he will be playing alongside stars such as Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham on a weekly basis, and perhaps even Kylian Mbappe.
