While Mosimane's agent, Moira Tlhagale, recently revealed that her priority is to secure her client a job with a national team when his time at Abha Club comes to an end, she did not rule out the possibility of the trophy-laden boss continuing club duties.

Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club have recently parted ways with Faouzi Benzarti and are now looking for a new manager, with Mosimane reportedly among the top candidates being considered.

According to Sport 7, talks have begun between Tlhagale and president of the record Botola Pro champions, Abdelmajid El Bernaki, but discussions over a possible contract are now said to have hit a snag as they are unable to reach an agreement over his salary.

The same report claims that, in Saudi Arabia, the former Mamelodi Sundowns tactician is currently getting paid approximately 130 million centimes (R27.4 million) per month, but that the Red Castle and its chief are only willing to pay the Kagiso native 40 million centimes (R8.4 million).

It is believed that Mosimane's representative does not think this is enough for a manager that has won two CAF Champions League titles.
