Mamelodi Sundowns stars Junior Mendieta, Abdelmounaim Boutouil and Lucas Ribeiro Costa headed to a nearby safari to walk the kings of the animal kingdom.
Mendieta, who is no strange to South Africa's incredible safari experiences, shared a few videos of them walking and get up close to a pride of Lions.

Sundowns stars walk with Lions
Mamelodi Sundowns are currently on top of the South African football pyramid and are the team to beat in continental football competitions after claiming the inaugural African Football League.
As the already feel like kings on the pitch, a group of daring Sundowns players wanted to feel what it's like to be the kings of the jungle.
Mendieta was joined by Moroccan defender Boutouil and the in-form Brazilian forward Costa, at what appears to be a Gauteng-based safari.
Safari's like the Ukutula Lodge Game Reserve offer similar guided walks with Lions to the one experienced by the Sundowns players, who also had sticks attached to their hands.
