New Deal & New Agent For Chabalala

New Deal & New Agent For Chabalala

Having successfully revived his career and enjoying his football at Chippa United, former Orlando Pirates defender Justice Chabalala has signed a new contract.

Chabalala, 32, has made 15 league appearances and missed just one match for the Chilli Boys in the current campaign and has been impressive with his performances in his second season with the club.

"Yes, I can confirm that Justice Chabalala has signed a new two-year contract with Chippa United. But what people should also know is that I am no longer representing the player after what happened when this new deal came into being. The story is that I have been in negotiations with Chippa for Justice's contract extension but to my surprise the player went to the club with a different agent to sign the contract. Chippa alerted me to it, and I said they should go ahead, and I hold no grudges against the player," said Mulovhedzi, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.

"I am not fighting with anyone, including the agent who brokered the deal because he did not point a gun to the player's head to sign. Justice is an elder and I have been around for a while in the industry to understand how these things happen sometimes. There was a time when Justice didn't have a club and I went out of my way to convince Chippa to sign him. In saying that, I don't feel bad about anything, and instead I would like to thank Mr Chippa Mpengesi and his club for giving the player a chance to revive his career when he needed that the most. To Justice and his new agent, I wish them everything of the best in their future endeavours," he said.

"I have played my part for the player to be where he is today and for that I am very proud. I took him to Free State Stars as a youngster and that is where he got his first professional contract. From there, I got him a deal at Pirates, then it was Bloemfontein Celtic and Sekhukhune United respectively before he joined Chippa," concluded the intermediary.
