Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Neo Maema has been donating some much-needed items to his former school through his very own foundation.
The philanthropic baller returned to his alma mater ten years after graduating to hand over schools shoes and engaged with the star-struck learners at the school.

Neo Maema helps out alma mater
Masandawana midfielder Neo Maema conducted a back-to-school drive through his Maema Foundation this week, taking time to donate some essentials.
Maema and his team arrived with a bulk of school shoes and sanitary pads for the learners at Heatherdale Secondary School in Bloemfontein.
The 28-year-old, who started his career in his home city with the now defunct Bloemfontein Celtics, handed over his framed MTN8 Final jersey for the school to keep.
The baller also greeted the school's staff on arrival, with his foundation writing on Instagram: "As we reflect on our journeys, let us cherish the foundations laid by our childhood schools. Consider giving back, whether through mentorship, donations, or supporting educational initiatives.
"Small gestures can have a significant impact on the places that shaped our early years. Together, let us contribute to the growth and success of the next generation."
